Elliot Daly has been retained in England's 25-man squad for Saturday's Six Nations match with Ireland in Dublin.
Daly was substituted early on in England's 61-21 win over Scotland last Saturday after being tip tackled by Fraser Brown, but has so far passed the return to play protocols for concussion.
The Wasps back has two more stages to clear - including Thursday's full contact session - but England hope he will be given the all clear to play at the Aviva Stadium, where Eddie Jones' side are looking to secure a second consecutive Grand Slam.
England retained their Six Nations crown against Scotland and are likely to name an unchanged matchday 23 if Daly is passed fit.
Wasps hooker Tommy Taylor remains with the squad and is expected to be a travelling reserve alongside winger Jonny May.
England will set a tier one Test record of 19 consecutive wins if they are victorious in Dublin, surpassing the record set by New Zealand between August 2015 and November 2016.
However, Ireland ended England's Grand Slam hopes in Dublin in 2011 and halted New Zealand's winning run with a 40-29 victory in Chicago in the autumn.
