England Women complete first Grand Slam since 2012

England Women have completed a Six Nations Grand Slam after powering to a 34-7 win over Ireland in Donnybrook on Friday night.
Ireland made their visitors work really hard and it was only 5-0 to England with less than half an hour left, but they pulled away in the closing stages to claim a first Grand Slam since 2012.
Amy Wilson Hardy, Laura Keates, Amy Cokayne, Emily Scarratt and Lydia Thompson crossed for England while Leah Lyons was Ireland's try-scorer.
After a tight start to the match, England got the breakthrough when Scarratt put Wilson Hardy over in the corner.
England continued to have more of the possession and territory but Ireland defended superbly and then attacked themselves towards the end of the half, only for England to keep them at bay with some valiant defending of their own.
It was 5-0 at the interval and England extended their lead when half-time replacement Laura Keates went over after 54 minutes.
Again the try was not converted but Scarratt then kicked a penalty, and the centre then continued her fine night by providing the pass that sent Cokayne over.
Ireland continued to fight hard however and got within 20-7 when Lyons powered over.
But England produced some fine rugby in the closing stages to wrap up the win, Scarratt scoring a well-deserved try after Danielle Waterman had initiated a scintillating attack, before Thompson raced away to claim the final try of the night.
Two Chloe Rollie tries ensured Scotland Women ended their Six Nations campaign on a victorious note against Italy.
Having won their first game since 2010 earlier in the tournament, when they secured a come-from-behind victory over Wales, the Scots finished with two wins thanks to a 14-12 success over the Italians.
The hosts, for whom Heather Lockhart made a Six Nations-record 59th appearance, had to do it the hard way at Broadwood Stadium, having fallen 12-0 behind when Melissa Bettoni crossed twice.
But Rollie replied with a pair of tries herself and, crucially, Lana Skeldon made two difficult conversions while the extras were missed after Bettoni's tries.
There was no further scoring in the second period as the Scots held on to claim a narrow victory.
