LISTEN: The Offload podcast - John Smit and Scott Quinnell
Last Updated: 14/09/17 11:50am
There is plenty to talk about as John Smit and Scott Quinnell join Rupert Cox to debate the big issues in rugby.
First up is the PRO14 and Smit, who skippered the Springboks to World Cup glory in 2007, talks strongly about South Africa's involvement in the new tournament.
The Cheetahs and Kings both moved from Super Rugby to the PRO14 at the start of the current season but have struggled so far and have not won a game. Smit believes that they will get better but is also proposing that the South African clubs in the PRO14 should be rotated every couple of years.
Smit also talks about the revival of the Springboks and whether they can beat New Zealand in Saturday's Rugby Championship clash, live on Sky Sports Main Event from 8am.
Also on this week's podcast is referee Wayne Barnes who sheds some light on the new rugby laws.
