England and Wales will hold a joint training session ahead of next month's autumn internationals.

England head coach Eddie Jones had warned his players he will introduce "a bit of chaos" as they continue to build towards the 2019 World Cup, and that includes training alongside their Six Nations rivals.

The England and Wales forwards will train together in Bristol on November 6 as they prepare for the end-of-year Tests, with referee Nigel Owens overseeing the session.

"There will be a match of 12 large scrums and 15 lineouts," Jones told the BBC.

"We wanted Wayne Barnes to referee but [Wales] asked for Nigel Owens and we bowed to their wishes."

England face Argentina, Australia and Samoa, will all three Tests live on Sky Sports, while Wales will do battle with Australia, Georgia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Jones has handed Exeter forward Sam Simmonds his first call-up while Denny Solomona is recalled, with Zach Mercer and Marcus Smith are included as 'apprentice players'.

However, there is no place for James Haskell as Jones feels he is "just not playing well enough".

Meanwhile, Jones will have Harlequins prop Joe Marler available for England's clash with the Wallabies on November 18 after his suspension for striking an opponent was brought forward.
