Take a look at 10 of the best tries from the 2014 Super Rugby season.

The 19-year-old fly-half, who can also play at full-back, was previously part of the Chiefs Development programme.

And he is relishing the chance to further his career at the Waikato-based franchise.

"While I was training with the Chiefs I learned so much and really enjoyed the coaching staff and the culture, so I am rapt to be given this opportunity," said McKenzie.

“The boys are very welcoming and I know I will enjoy being part of the Chiefs family.”

Chiefs head coach Dave Rennie has been impressed with what he has seen of McKenzie during his time at the side.

"Damian is a quality young man who has made a huge impression over the past nine months," he said.

"He's brave, has an excellent skill set and an outstanding work ethic. We're rapt he's committed long-term."
