The Sharks are still unbeaten at home in the Premiership this season and haven't lost at the AJ Bell Stadium since April 2015, however Bath were victorious on their last visit to Salford back in September 2014.

Steve Diamond has opted to make four changes to the side that lost to Montpellier in the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup last week. Sam Tuitupou returns to captain the side, with Will Addison, Eifion Lewis-Roberts and Mark Easter also returning to the starting team.

Newcastle Falcons v London Irish (3pm)

It's an eagerly anticipated showdown at Kingston Park as the Falcons host London Irish in a game that will go a long way to deciding which side is relegated from the Premiership at the end of the season.

London Irish are currently bottom of the table but could leapfrog their hosts with a convincing win, and the enormity of what's at stake has not escaped Newcastle boss Dean Richards.

"In some respects, you would want it to be like any other week, but everybody is billing it to be slightly different," said Richards. "Having said that, we are four points clear of them with two games left after this weekend, so the pressure really is on London Irish."

A win for the Falcons would almost certainly mean relegation for London Irish, while a win for the Exiles would make the run-in to the end of the season intriguing with just two rounds remaining.
