Who would you pick in a combined Ireland-Wales Six Nations team?

Ireland and Wales have faced off on 61 occasions on the Emerald Isle in history, and results could not have been closer.

From 61 fixtures in Ireland, the Irish have won 28 times, Wales also 28 times and there have been five draws. There has been nothing to separate the two in this particular meeting since 1882.

Both have major injury concerns heading into this one, with British and Irish Lions Tadhg Furlong, Iain Henderson, Robbie Henshaw, Sean O'Brien, Jared Payne, Jonathan Davies, Sam Warburton, Rhys Webb and Taulupe Faletau all absent.

But who would make it into your combined XV from the 30 men that have been selected? Have your say with our team selector below...!

Joe Schmidt's side will be well aware Wales will pose a vastly different challenge to that of France or Italy on Saturday. Under Schmidt, Wales have proved the toughest of nuts to crack with Ireland winning just twice from six attempts.

However, Ireland are currently on a run of nine consecutive wins. Their record winning run with Schmidt in charge is 10. Can they equal it at the Aviva Stadium this weekend?

Wales must take the momentum and emotion they finished the game with at Twickenham to Dublin and set their stall out early.

Head coach Warren Gatland will be taking charge of Wales for the 100th time and often seems to raise his side for clashes against his former employers.

Things usually get a bit spicy between these two...
