Sir Graham Henry thinks Eddie Jones is going to make England a big force in world rugby over the next few years

Former All Blacks coach Sir Graham Henry expects Eddie Jones to turn England into 'a big force in world rugby'.

Speaking to Sky Sports in the wake of England's 39-21 victory over Australia in the first Test, Henry praised Jones for restoring pride in the jersey, and said the team displayed passion reminiscent of the England team captained by Martin Johnson in 2003.

The England players celebrated each big tackle and penalty in Brisbane on Saturday, which Henry believes is a direct result of Jones' influence.

"He's concentrated on that English team being very physical, very abrasive, and they're playing that way," said Henry. "They out-passioned the Aussies.

"The Wallabies looked like they were going to take them apart early in the game. They scored two good tries, another one disallowed and rightly so, but the English just wore them down, got on top, got over them physically and won the game comfortably.

"They were impressive. They're going to be a big force in world rugby over the next few years."
