England have provisionally included Elliot Daly as part of the 31-man squad for their Six Nations clash with Ireland on Saturday.

Daly was the victim of a late Fraser Brown tackle early on in the 61-21 thrashing of Scotland at the weekend and briefly returned to the action at Twickenham before eventually being forced off after 16 minutes.

Daly passed an initial Head Injury Assessment amid fears he had suffered a possible concussion and the RFU has now confirmed it will continue to monitor him under the graded return-to-play protocol.

Harlequins' Jack Clifford and Leicester's Mike Williams both miss out on a place in the squad.

Four forwards - Josh Beaumont, Teimana Harrison, Paul Hill and Tommy Taylor - have been added to the squad that sealed a record 18th straight international win on Saturday.
