Wasps centre Kyle Eastmond to miss rest of season after Achilles tendon surgery

Wasps centre Kyle Eastmond will miss the rest of this season after tearing his Achilles tendon.
Eastmond, who won the last of his six England caps in 2014, was hurt during Wasps' Aviva Premiership victory over Gloucester on Sunday.
Premiership leaders Wasps said he has undergone surgery and is expected to be sidelined for six months.
"It is obviously really disappointing for Kyle that he will miss the rest of the season," said Wasps rugby director Dai Young.
"And I really feel for him, because it came at a time when he was really starting to find his feet in this side and get a good run of games under his belt.
"The good news is that the operation was as straightforward as it can be with this type of injury, and that Kyle is expected to make a full recovery, hopefully being back ahead of the new season.
"Kyle will be a big loss for us as we go into this last part of the season.
"But we are lucky to have a very competitive group of backs, and this will give other players the opportunity to step up, which they have consistently done as a group already this year."
Former St Helens rugby league star, Eastmond, 27, joined Wasps from their Premiership rivals Bath last year.
