Crusaders half-back agrees two-year deal

The Ospreys have followed up the signing of George Stowers with the signing of his Samoa team-mate Kahn Fotuali'i. The 28-year-old was named in the Super Rugby team of the year in 2010 after a number of impressive displays at scrum-half and fly-half for the Crusaders. However Fotuali'i, who played for Samoa in their autumn internationals against England, Scotland and Ireland, has now opted for fresh challenge after agreeing a two-year deal. Ospreys elite performance director Andrew Hore said: "Kahn is an extremely versatile player who is renowned in New Zealand for his professionalism and his hard-working ethic. "He is capable of playing to a very high standard in two key positions, and with the versatility and experience he has, provides a level of flexibility to the coaches that will prove to be extremely useful across a long season. "He has come through the Crusaders rugby system, which is undoubtedly one of the most professional development structures in world rugby."
