Bristol have signed Wales prop Ryan Bevington from Ospreys on a two-year contract.
Bevington, 27, has won 13 international caps, the last of which came in the 2014 Six Nations.
The loosehead brings considerable experience to the Aviva Premiership new boys, having played over 100 times for the Ospreys.
Bristol boss Andy Robinson told the club's official website: "We're pleased to welcome Ryan into the squad and looking forward to integrating him into our environment.
"Ryan is in the prime of his career and has played at the highest level, he brings with him the experience and tactical nous required to be successful in the front row.
"Ryan still harbours international ambitions and is hungry to play in the Aviva Premiership. We're confident he will complement what we are trying to achieve here."
Bevington said: "I'm excited about the opportunity to represent Bristol Rugby and to play in the top flight of English rugby.
"Having spoken to Andy…it's clear that this is an ambitious environment to be involved in and I'm looking forward to being a part of that.
"I've got great memories from nine years with the Ospreys and I'd like to thank the supporters, staff and my team-mates for making my time there so enjoyable."
