Saracens have re-signed winger David Strettle from French Top 14 side Clermont Auvergne.

Strettle, 34, will return to Allianz Park on a one-year deal at the end of the season after three years in France.

The winger won the 2017 French title and played in the Champions Cup Final against Saracens last year at Murrayfield.

The 14-times capped England international previously won two Aviva Premiership titles with Saracens.

"'I already have some unforgettable memories at Saracens - they have always had a place in my heart," Strettle told Saracen's official website:

"An opportunity arose in France which I took as a fresh challenge, but now can't wait to come home and hopefully make some more great memories.
