New Zealand player Sonny Bill Williams says he is ready to "explode" against Australia on his comeback from a four-match suspension

New Zealand centre Sonny Bill Williams says he is ready to "explode" against Australia after suspension.

Williams was the first All Black in 50 years to be sent off in a Test match after a dangerous shoulder charge on Lions winger Anthony Watson in the second Lions Test last month.

He has served a four-match ban and will return for Saturday's Rugby Championship opener and Bledisloe Cup match against Australia, live on Sky Sports Action from 10.30am.

Williams said: "I'm refreshed but now it's time to gear up for one of the biggest games for us this year so I'm excited to be involved.

"You know you've been out for a while, and you get back into the fold and sometimes you're a little bit too eager, so just trying to keep a lid on things and hopefully explode on Saturday."

The player's four-match ban after the second Lions Test looked like ruling him out of Saturday's match in Sydney, but New Zealand successfully appealed a World Rugby ruling on the matches that would count toward his suspension.

By taking into account a practice match played by the All Blacks last week, Williams became available and he has been included in the team for the ANZ Stadium clash.
