Scotland internationals Tim Swinson and Tommy Seymour have signed new contracts with Guinness PRO12 side Glasgow.

Lock Swinson, 29, has signed a three-year deal through the end of the 2020 season, while winger Seymour is now committed to the club until the end of the 2019 campaign.

Swinson has been with the PRO12 club since signing from Newcastle Falcons before the start of the 2012-13 season.

He has also been part of the Scotland squad since 2013, making 25 Test appearances, and is looking forward to starting life under new Warriors coach Dave Rennie, who takes over from Gregor Townsend at the end of the season.

"I've signed for three years because it's a great club to be at and there is a good buzz around the place," Swinson said.

"With other guys signing new contracts it's good to know that the guys you get on well with on and off the pitch are going to be here.

"It'll be a different opportunity with Dave Rennie next season, we've had five years now with Gregor, so it'll be interesting to work with another coach."

Seymour joined the club from Ulster a year before Swinson's arrival and has gone on to win 95 club caps, scoring 31 tries.

Born in the United States, Seymour qualified to play for Scotland and made his debut in 2013 - he has played 31 internationals since and scored 14 tries.

"I'm delighted to be staying at Glasgow Warriors," he said. "It's a club which is close to my heart now and I've been part of a lot of changes which have happened with the move of venue, the development of the playing squad and the size of the crowd.

"You can see the supporters have taken to Scotstoun as if it's their home as well. The chants, the songs and the vocal atmosphere they provide in my opinion is second to none and it really does provide an environment you can't wait to go out and play in front of."
