Edinburgh have confirmed the signing of full-back Glenn Bryce from Glasgow on a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old has been with the Warriors since the start of the 2014-15 season but he will make the move to the capital this summer.
Bryce came through the ranks in lower league rugby in Scotland, playing for Alloa, Stirling County and Heriot's, and he has also represented Jersey and Doncaster in the English league system.
He joined Glasgow's professional squad at the start of the current season and has scored four tries in 13 appearances.
"I feel like the move to Edinburgh presents a real opportunity for me as a player. They're a club going in the right direction and are building and progressing each year," Bryce said.
"I've got some good mates at the club already, and they're always telling me how tight the Edinburgh group is, and that everyone works hard for each other. I'm looking forward to getting involved with the team and getting started.
"I'm ambitious and I want to be playing as much as I can, and I'm looking forward to a new challenge and pushing myself as an individual.
"I know Hodgey [Duncan Hodge] well through working with him at the [Scottish Rugby] Academy and the age-grade programme. He's a good coach and he's got an attacking mindset, which suits the type of game I like to play."
