Munster's James Cronin has been banned for four weeks for stamping on Leinster's Jamison Gibson-Park.
The prop was cited in the wake of his side's weekend Pro12 defeat at the Aviva Stadium and found guilty by an independent Celtic Rugby disciplinary committee in Glasgow on Tuesday.
The offence - catching Gibson-Park in the head during a 73rd-minute ruck - was deemed to be worth a five-week suspension, with one week taken off for mitigating factors.
Cronin, who can appeal the ban, now stands to miss four games before he becomes eligible for a return on November 7.
Munster will be without their Ireland forward for their opening two Champions Cup games against Racing 92 and Glasgow, both of which are live on Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old will also sit out Pro 12 fixtures against Ulster and Ospreys.
