The 2017 British & Irish Lions will kick off their tour to New Zealand on June 3 when they take on a Provincial Union XV at the Toll Stadium in Whangarei.

Warren Gatland will name his touring squad as well as his captain on April 19, with the stars of the home nations hoping to get their chance in the three Tests against the World Champions.

The Lions have not had much luck in New Zealand over the years, but when was the last time they won a series there? Who was named captain of the last tour to New Zealand in 2005? Who was the All Blacks captain that year?

Test your knowledge of British and Irish Lions touring history by taking our quiz!

Sky Sports will take you to every tour match and all three Tests as Gatland's men look to create history this summer.
