Conrad Smith got the better of former All Blacks centre partner Ma'a Nonu as he scored a spectacular try against Toulon.
With Pau trailing 21-3 at the Stade Felix Mayol, Smith beat five players including Nonu to touch down.
Nonu had the last laugh as Toulon ran out 21-17 victors but Smith's try sparked a late rally that earned Pau a losing bonus point.
