Argentina will be without the injured Pablo Matera for upcoming games against New Zealand and Australia.

The blindside flanker dislocated his shoulder during Saturday’s  33-31 loss to South Africa and has been sidelined for the next two Rugby Championship matches.

Leonardo Senatore came on for Matera in the 35th minute and could replace him in the side after being named in Argentina’s 28-man travelling party.

Pumas coach Daniel Hourcade has recalled fit-again wing Juan Imhoff, while there were call-ups for hooker Santiago Iglesias Valdez, a newcomer to the tournament, and back-row forward Benjamin Macome.

Argentina are currently bottom of the standings after two narrow defeats against the Springboks, which earned them two bonus points.

They will meet the All Blacks in Napier on September 6th, then face the Wallabies at Gold Coast a week later.
