Manny Pacquiao has bought a $12.5m Beverly Hills mansion by giving the seller tickets to his mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather.
The richest fight in boxing history will take place in Las Vegas' MGM Grand on May 2 but Pacquiao is already splashing the cash - and using his star power to seal the deal.
The Filipino's new Los Angeles property, described as a seven-bedroom Mediterranean style estate is 10,000-square feet with a home theatre seating 20, several patios and a large pool, according to Forbes.
Pacquiao's estate agent Elsa Nelson told USA Today: "No doubt it [adding the tickets into the deal] helped.
"The sellers are great fans of boxing and of Manny, so it was a big deal."
The lavish home, which was previously owned by hip-hop star P Diddy, demonstrates that Pacquiao can rival 'Money' Mayweather's expenditure before challenging him in the ring.
Mayweather v Pacquiao is live on Sky Sports Box Office and the cost of the event will be £19.95 / €24.95 across all forms of booking, up until midnight Friday, May 1. From then on the cost will still be £19.95 / €24.95 if bookings are made via remote control and online, but will cost £24.95 / €29.95 if booked via the phone.
