UFC fighter Conor McGregor claims he 'would kill' Floyd Mayweather in 30 seconds, if the pair ever fought.

That's ahead of Mayweather's fight with Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, on May 2, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

UFC star McGregor, who will challenge for the 145-pound world title in July at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, also described the undefeated multi-weight world champion 'as a rookie'.

'I would kill him'

"I don't look at a man who's expert in one area as a specialist," he said. "I look at him as a rookie in ten other areas.

"If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs? If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather - pound-for-pound boxing's best - if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than thirty seconds.

"It would take me less than thirty seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him," he told Esquire.
