Carl Frampton vs Scott Quigg: Johnny Nelson expects more fall-outs before fight night

Johnny Nelson believes there could well be more pre-fight rows between Team Frampton and Team Quigg.
The trainers and promoters of super-bantamweight world champions Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg were at the centre of a dressing-room row at the pre-fight press conference on Thursday.
Quigg is adamant he will get the room he wants "as the home fighter", while his opponent and his team say they are top of the bill, so should be entitled to take it.
And Sky Sports' Nelson not only believes the dispute might continue until the night of the fight, but expects more rows to rumble on ahead of the Sky Sports Box Office event on Saturday night.

"There's got to be some sort of negotiations because Scott is determined to make sure he gets what he wants because he thinks he's been pushed on everything else; the headline of the fight, how the fight is announced and everything else," Nelson told Sky Sports' Countdown.
"I think this is going to go down to the wire on Saturday night, 5.00pm when you lock yourself into the dressing room.
"There might even be more ridiculous demands but don't think this is the only argument.
"I saw this with [Tyson] Fury and [Wladimir] Klitschko - first it was the gloves, then it was the ring. Don't be surprised if we have another issue on Friday."
Team Fury not only felt they were being cheated in fight week when it came to pre-fight gloves, but threatened to walk away from the fight unless a thick strip of foam under the ring canvas was removed at the ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf.
Nelson is expecting further fall-outs at Friday's weigh-in and is worried Quigg and Frampton are being caught up in the disputes.
"My worry is, is this going to affect the fighters: it's a bit like two parents going at it, forgetting about the kids," he said.
"What these people's jobs are is to keep the fighters focussed, get the job in hand done, not all this sniping and getting the fighters involved.
"If they want to do it, do it away from the fighters, not while they're involved."
