Mayweather said: "I'm not trolling anyone. Floyd Mayweather has fans from all around the world. My staff are very diverse.
"I have Filipinos who work for me. We have everyone. TMT (The Money Team) for Africa, TMT for Japan, TMT for Canada. We also have TMT for the Philippines."
And Pacquiao has refused to take offence, joking: "I like that because he wants to join our team. TMT - The Manny Team!"
Saturday's fight in Las Vegas is the richest in boxing history and is expected to generate in the region of $332m.
Mayweather added: "When I was a kid, I never thought I'd see a fight bigger than Sugar Ray Leonard against Marvin Hagler.
"But I did because then I fought Oscar De La Hoya. And then I fought Saul Alvarez. And now it's me against Manny.
"I don't get nervous for any fight. I know what I bring to the table. I know how to fight and I'm a sharp guy. This is a great event. Manny Pacquiao is a solid competitor and I can't wait."
