Great boxing bouts in Las Vegas have a history of memorable ring walks and with the arrivals happening tonight, we asked The Panel what they expect Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao to get to the ring...

Carl Froch

I am not sure. We all know Mayeather sometimes dresses up - in the gladiator outfit or the giant sombrero - but he doesn't strike me as a man who is too extravagant these days. He was never like Naseem Hamed in his day so I am not expecting anything too flamboyant.

One thing I do know is that if one of them comes in on a double decker bus, it's going to be a bad omen.

Johnny Nelson

I think both fighters know this could be their last big-time hurrah. They are going to milk it. Pacquiao will absolutely love the ring walk. He will smile and cheer and nod to the crowd, trying to high five people.

So will Mayweather. He will have Justin Bieber on his left and a rapper on his right! The ringwalks are as important in the build-up as the fight itself. Like Naseem Hamed, the ring walk is a show in its own.

Glenn McCrory

Pacquiao always comes out smiling and waving, while Mayweather comes out seriously and I expect the same thing.

Mayweather wants to make a real statement in this fight and he will be all business. He really wants to prove he is the best. I think Mayweather will be more serious than ever and will come out and try to stop Pacquiao.

Jim Watt

I don't expect to see what Prince Naseem or Chris Eubank used to do. Pacquiao walks out looking like he’s going to a party, he loves every minute of it, whereas Mayweather is more serious.

They're both a bit long in the tooth for big ring walks but they're making so much money, why not spend it on the ring walk? It's better than giving it to the tax man!

Usually, fun ring walks are planned in advance because you're very confident of winning the fight itself. It will be impossible to entertain the fans more than during the fight.

Mayweather's ring walks are an event on their own, but this time they'll both be more concerned about the fight.

Paulie Malignaggi

We might get something from Mayweather, simply because this is the show of all shows. Why not add to the fun, as long as it's not breaking the focus of each fighter. A great ring walk would just add to the razzmatazz of the whole occasion but if I am honest, I am not expecting Floyd to come out with anything crazy.

He will want to stay focused but he is a veteran of all this, so let's see. If there is one person with something up his sleeve, it's him!
