Floyd Mayweather has built a 47-0 record with a defensive, cautious base but is he obliged to entertain the fans in the Fight of the Century? The Panel discuss.
Jamie Moore
Mayweather doesn't feel pressure from anybody except himself. If we see a really good fight, it will be because Pacquiao has pressurised him to fight back. Otherwise, he'll just sit back and box at his own pace.
Glenn McCrory
I actually think we are going to see a different Mayweather and he will be there to make a point. He's seen Pacquiao flat on his face and I think he wants to put him there again.
Pacquiao is the one person that gets under his skin, because people like Pacquiao more than him. I think that really upsets Floyd, because he's done everything he’s done and yet people want Manny to win. He will want to put this out of sight.
Jim Watt
He'll do what he always does. He is idolised and he's knocked out one person out in the last eight years. People don't expect drama from Floyd, they pay money to watch his skills. He's a tactical and technical genius, there's no pressure to turn into a slugger.
Paulie Malignaggi
I imagine all Floyd wants to do is dominate the fight and I can't see him wanting to impress - we already know know he's good. He has won all his fights and he has dominated most of them and whether or not that has been entertaining, it is what he is there to do.
How he does that, we'll see. He's an intelligent guy and the way he approaches and breaks down his fights, shows he does things with a thinking perspective, not really an entertaining perspective.
Carl Froch
It is all about the win, nothing else. I've seen it before when we all thought he needed to impress and show us how good he is, but as soon as he gets in the ring, he just does what he does.
He blanks everything else out and just gets on with the job. Even if Mayweather stinks the place out, he's not bothered: a win is a win. I can't see him going for the big finish, no matter how many people will be watching. He is not going to get in there looking for a tear-up, certainly not early on. I think it's Pacquiao that makes this fight.
Johnny Nelson
It's very important that he wins this fight, there is far too much at stake here. We will be the last people that he cares about pleasing, he just needs to win.
Remember when he put on Facebook: Who do you want me to box? Marcos Maidana or Amir Khan? The fans spoke and he didn't listen. He wants to do what suits him.
