Luke Fletcher facing two week lay-off after head injury

Luke Fletcher will not play cricket for at least another fortnight after being struck on the head by the ball during a T20 Blast match, Sky sources understand.
The Nottinghamshire bowler spent one day at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham before being released on Sunday.
He was forced off the field with a towel covering his head at Edgbaston on Saturday after being hit by the ball when Sam Hain was batting for the Birmingham Bears.
Fletcher fell to the ground and the game was halted for 30 minutes to allow players and the umpires to recover from the incident.
Nottinghamshire have told us he will have further medical assessments throughout the week before returning to the team.
Fletcher is not expected to do any physical activity for a week before doing some light running, catching and throwing. The player will only be allowed to progress to batting and bowling if he shows no adverse reaction.
Notts will follow cricket's head injury rules, which usually apply to a batsman who has been hit by a bouncer.
Fletcher thanked fans for their good will messages after being released from hospital and jokingly asked about the state of the ball.
Nottinghamshire's next fixture is a T20 Blast match at home to the Derbyshire Falcons next Friday.
