Virat Kohli suffered his second duck in a row as Australia beat India by two wickets in the second one-day international in Adelaide to secure a series win with a game to spare.

Kohli followed his eight-ball nought in the series opener in Perth on Sunday - which India lost by seven wickets on DLS - with a four-ball blob on Thursday, pinned lbw by Xavier Bartlett as the tourists posted 264-9 after being put in to bat.

Australia eclipsed that total with 22 deliveries to spare after a wobble to take an unassailable 2-0 lead ahead of the third and final game in Sydney on Saturday.

That fixture precedes five T20s - the home side's final action before the Ashes series against England from November 21.
