It was a lucky escape for Alastair Cook after the ball hits his pad and rolls back before thumping into the base of the stumps, but the bails stay on!

It's difficult to get Alastair Cook out, as suggested by his 263 in Abu Dhabi...

So when Pakistan slow-left-armer Zulfiqar Babar finally got one to beat Cook when on 27 and roll onto his stumps, the team were rightly aggrieved to see it not dislodge the bails.

Cook would go on to score his 45th Test fifty soon after tea on day two of the second Test in Dubai, but eventually departed to leg-spinner Yasir Shah at leg slip.
