Pakistan v England: Story of day three of third Test in Sharjah
Tuesday 3 November 2015 15:27, UK
It wasn’t a day for the faint-hearted in Sharjah as Pakistan and England traded punch and counter-punch in a bid to gain supremacy.
Click on the video above to see the best of the action as the home side overcame a first-innings deficit of 72 to earn a lead of 74 runs before stumps by reaching 146-3 in their second innings.
From Samit Patel's Test best score to the Yasir Shah crackerjack delivery that removed him the day was packed with moments of brilliance - not least Azhar Ali's brilliant catch at short leg to remove Adil Rashid.
Ben Stokes proved his bottle once again by batting at 11 before Pakistan's reply - led by Mohammad Hafeez (97no) - tilted the balance of play once more despite an horrendous run out.
It all means we have an intriguing day four in store…
