India will begin a seven-week tour of the West Indies on July 6 that will take in four Test matches.

India's cricket board last month announced the resumption of bilateral ties with the West Indies after dropping a $42m damages claim over the abandoned 2014 tour, when the Windies players flew home after a long-standing pay dispute came to a head in the middle of the tour.

The two teams had been due to play five ODIs, three Test matches and a T20 international, but a revolt led by captain Dwayne Bravo saw them refuse to play on after the first four ODIs.

India will now return to the Caribbean for the first time since 2011, where they will play a two-day practice match in St Kitts from July 9 followed by a three-day warm-up game at the same venue the following week.

The first Test will be played in Antigua from July 21, before further matches in Barbuda, St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.
