Alex Hales hit the best one-day international score ever by an England batsman - and then had to be told he was a record-breaker!
Click on the video above to watch events from an historic day at Trent Bridge, where the home side smashed 43 fours and 16 sixes in a barn-storming performance to post a mammoth 444-3 - the highest score in ODI history.
Pakistan opener Sharjeel Khan made 58 as did Mohammad Amir - the highest ODI score by a No 11 batsman - before the tourists were bowled out for 275 with 44 balls to spare.
That gave England a 169-run win, as well as an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series and guaranteed victory in the Super Series.
Hales (171) overtook Robin Smith's 23-year-old record for the highest individual score for England of 167 not out but only appeared to realise he'd achieved the feat when partner Joe Root told him.
Root, for his part, struck 85 off 86 balls - his fifth half-century in a row - and put on 248 for the second wicket with Hales, who missed out on the chance to become the first Englishman to strike a double-hundred when he was lbw to Hasan Ali.
Jos Buttler and Eoin Morgan picked up where Hales left off - the former posting the quickest-ever ODI half-century by an Englishman off just 22 balls.
