New Zealand's Tom Latham took a stunning catch at short leg against South Africa

Tom Latham showed brilliant anticipation at short leg as he took a fantastic one-handed catch to dismiss Faf du Plessis on day two of the third Test between New Zealand and South Africa.
The South African captain had batted well to reach his half-century and help the visitors recover from 97-4 to 190-5 before seeing his innings reach a sudden and spectacular end.
As left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner delivered the ball, Du Plessis quickly got himself into position to play a lap-sweep. However, as soon as the batsman made his move, Latham reacted, darting to his right in anticipation of the shot.
Du Plessis duly connected but by the time he glanced round, Latham had astonishingly plucked the ball out of the air with his right hand, forcing the disbelieving Proteas batsman to walk off as New Zealand celebrated.
The match itself remains evenly poised after two rain-affected days with New Zealand 67-0 in reply to South Africa's 314 in the first innings.
