The T20 Blast clash between Glamorgan and Somerset in Cardiff was abandoned on Saturday night after 17.2 overs.

Inclement weather meant the match started later but play did get underway after a 35-minute delay and Somerset chose to field after winning the toss.

Somerset seamer Lewis Gregory (2-42 in three overs) was quite expensive but did remove openers David Lloyd (1) and Aneurin Donald (24) in the first five overs.

Glamorgan number three Colin Ingram made a lively 39 off 21 balls and skipper Jacques Rudoph then came to the fore.

The experienced left-hander hit 65 not out from 37 balls and added 52 in only 4.2 overs with Chris Cooke (21).

And the hosts looked on course for a decent score at 171-5, only for rain to bring proceedings to an early finish.
