New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has been appointed as captain for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 Indian Premier League.
Williamson replaces David Warner, who stood down as captain in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal on Australia's tour of South Africa.
On his appointment, Williamson said: "I've accepted the role to stand in as captain for this season. It's an exciting opportunity with a talented group of players. I look forward to the challenges ahead."
Warner, who joined Sunrisers in 2014, has captained the side for the last three years and holds the IPL record for the most runs by an overseas player.
Australia team-mate Steve Smith resigned the captaincy of Rajasthan Royals on Monday and was replaced by India's Ajinkya Rahane.
The IPL have also banned the Australia duo, who had £1.35m ($1.9m) IPL contracts, from playing in this year's tournament.
Both franchises will bring in replacements for the competition which starts on April 7.
The pair were banned from international and Australian domestic cricket for 12 months on Wednesday by Cricket Australia but remain eligible to play in overseas competitions.
