England's fragile batting line-up imploded again before Sam Curran launched a rescue mission on day one of the fourth Test in Southampton.
England collapsed to 86-6 amid some potent India bowling before Curran, recalled following Chris Woakes' thigh injury, hit a Test-best 78 to lift the hosts to 246 all out - India subsequently reaching 19-0 by stumps.
