Alastair Cook will lead England into Ashes battle at Cardiff aiming to regain the urn he lifted in 2013.
Ahead of the first Investec Test, coverage of which begins at 10am this Wednesday on Sky Sports Ashes, the England captain ran us through his own daily countdown.
Three days out from the coin flip in Cardiff, Cook picked the top three Ashes bowling spells by an England team he has been part of, paying tribute to the exploits of James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Tim Bresnan.
