Sir Ian Botham celebrates turning 60 this year with a special day of cricket

Sir Ian Botham celebrates his 60th birthday today – to mark the occasion he had a Big Bash cricket match at Wormsley.

He's England's most decorated cricketer, a Knight of the Realm who has raised millions of pounds for charity so there was a star-studded attendance for the occasion.

Next month Beefy will mark the 30th anniversary of his first ever charity walk from John O'Groats to Lands End in 1985 by walking the Rainbow Nation of South Africa in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
