Surrey have signed South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris for this summer's T20 Blast.

The 28-year-old will replace Dwayne Bravo, who is due to play in the Caribbean Premier League in July, and will be available for the final six group matches.

Morris made his Twenty20 debut for South Africa in 2012 and was part of the Proteas side that defeated England 2-0 in the recent series.

He has represented South Africa in all forms of the game having made his Test debut against England last month, while he was named man of the match in the fourth one-day international.

Morris said: "I am delighted to have signed for Surrey to play T20 this year. Playing county cricket has always been a big ambition of mine."

Surrey director of cricket Alec Stewart added: "Chris is an exciting, three-dimensional cricketer with bat, ball and in the field and has shown his match-winning abilities in the recent South Africa v England 50-over and T20 series.

"He will give us a number of very good options when he joins us in July and everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming him this summer."
