Worcestershire have agreed a new deal with another of their exciting young prospects in the shape of seamer Charlie Morris, who has signed a three-year contract.
The 23-year-old, who took 44 wickets in Division One of the LV= County Championship this summer, had two years left on his previous deal but will now be staying until at least the end of the 2018 campaign.
Worcestershire were relegated after finishing bottom of Division One but brighter days could be ahead, as they have a host of talented young players on their books at New Road.
And Morris has now joined his fellow youngsters Joe Clarke, Ed Barnard, Joe Leach, Tom Fell, Brett D'Oliveira and Tom Kohler-Cadmore in committing his future to the county.
"The club is going in the right direction and it's great to sign for another three years," said Morris.
"There are a lot of promising players coming through and, although it's disappointing that we've been relegated, there are many positives to take from the 2015 season."
