Former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori has backed Stephen Parry to have a bright future after working with England's bowlers.

Vettori is giving advice to the upcoming spinners this week as part of the ECB's Performance Plan.

He was impressed by Parry in the 3-0 win over Pakistan in the Twenty20 series in the United Arab Emirates.

And the former Black Caps all-rounder believes England have a talented crop of bowlers for the T20 World Cup in India in March.

He told Sky Sports News HQ: "So far so good. It has been really enjoyable getting to know the spinners.

"To work with them intimately has been good, I've been really impressed.

"My forte is finger spin and the way the game is going with finger spinning becoming more prevalent because of the law changes around the degree in people's arms, there's guys out there who have got a real chance of kicking on and performing for England.
