West Indies can silence critics, says Curtly Ambrose

Curtly Ambrose believes West Indies are capable of causing a surprise in this week's first Test against Australia in Hobart.
The Windies' chances of winning the three-match series have been written off after they lost by 10 wickets to a novice Cricket Australia XI in their only warm-up game.
They were also beaten 2-0 by Australia in their previous series in the Caribbean earlier this year and are quoted at 14/1 by Sky Bet to win at the Bellerive Oval, with some pundits predicting the hosts will triumph inside three days.
Ambrose, who took 405 Test wickets for West Indies, has been working with the team's bowlers as a consultant alongside his former new-ball bowling partner and current team selector Courtney Walsh, and he believes the tourists can silence the critics.
"At the end of the day, when we perform and we beat Australia, the reporters will have to change their tune," he said.
"We're here to do a job and we're going to make a good job of it.
"Being here alone should be more than enough motivation for the players, but having heard all those comments should be ideal motivation for them.
"We're going to do well, we're going to do much better than you think."
Watch the three-Test series between Australia and West Indies live on Sky Sports, starting at 11.30pm on Wednesday on Sky Sports 2HD.
