Here's the best action from day four of the first Ashes Test from Cardiff.

England beat Australia by 169 runs in the first Investec Ashes Test in Cardiff and take a 1-0 series lead.

Chasing 412 to win, Australia recovered from the early loss of Chris Rogers to Stuart Broad in the morning session, as David Warner (52) and Steve Smith (33) put on 78 for the second wicket.

It was Moeen Ali who made the breakthrough just before lunch, trapping Warner lbw, as Australia collapsed from 97-1 to 162-7 by tea, with England running through the Australia middle-order.

Broad added to his earlier strike with the wickets of Smith and captain Michael Clarke, while Mark Wood picked up Adam Voges and Shane Watson.

Sandwiched in between those Wood wickets was Moeen's second, as he got rid of Brad Haddin, thanks mainly to a brilliant catch from Alastair Cook.

Mitchell Johnson denied England briefly by smashing 77 but then man-of-the-match Joe Root came on to take two wickets - including Johnson's - and the catch for the final wicket to seal the win.
