Murali Vijay has been fined 30 per cent of his match fee for a show of dissent during India's final Test against South Africa.

The opening batsman was given out caught behind to Morne Morkel during the third day in Delhi and responded by gesturing to his arm guard as he left the field.

Umpires Kumar Dharmasena and Bruce Oxenford charged Vijay with a breach of International Cricket Council rules, and match referee Jeff Crowe imposed the punishment.
