New 'catch zones' introduced in Catch a Million competition in New Zealand

New Zealand Cricket has introduced 'catch zones' to keep fans safe as supporters try to win cash prizes.
It follows criticism after the third Twenty20 international between New Zealand and the Windies as some adults were accused of "cannonballing into families with small children".
Fans can win a cash prize of £26,300 if they catch the ball with one hand while wearing a promotional orange t-shirt which they have to buy.
The incidents were highlighted as Colin Munro smashed ten sixes as New Zealand beat Windies by 119 runs in the final Twenty20 at Mount Maunganui.
It led to New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham saying on social media: "Tonight for your viewing pleasure: Grown men in orange t-shirts cannonballing into families with small children."
In a statement New Zealand Cricket said: "The principal change to the procedures will see a dedicated 'catch zone' created at venues, in which Tui Catch-A-Million contestants will have to be located in order to qualify for the prize.
"Catches taken by patrons outside these zones will be deemed ineligible."
New rules will mean unruly behaviour and actions that could cause injury such as diving will also disqualify contestants from winning money if they catch the ball.
New Zealand Cricket and Tui Brewery say the immediate rule changes are "in the interests of crowd safety and improved fan experience".
The competition is in place for 23 limited overs matches against Windies, Pakistan, Australia and England.
To spread the message to fans there will be announcements and reminders from staff at the ground.
The only places where where "catch zones" will not be included are Eden Park and Westpac Stadium.
