Chris and Tom Sole are bullish about Scotland's chances of beating the number one ODI side in the world on Sunday - but then you'd expect nothing less.
The brothers come from strong sporting stock - their father David having led Scotland to a famous victory in rugby union's Five Nations.
Having come through the soul-destroying agony of missing out on qualification for the ICC Cricket World Cup, Chris and Tom fancy their compatriots can follow in their Dad's footsteps by downing England this Sunday.
"It's just the competitive side of our family," said Chris, at 24 the elder of the two, who is on the books at Hampshire.
"I have to be better than my brother that I'm closer to. That's what probably drove me to try and become a professional and play for Scotland in the end."
Tom wasn't named in the 15-man squad after suffering a broken ankle. However, the 21-year-old did play in the rain-hit ICC World Cup qualification match against Windies in March - a match Scotland lost by five runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method to end their hopes of reaching the 2019 tournament.
"I think I was next in to bat," recalls Tom, of Northamptonshire. "I had my pads on and then out of nowhere that raincloud - just one cloud in the sky - and it absolutely hammered down for a good hour.
"It makes it that much more difficult, seeing as we'd been playing pretty much a perfect game."
Chris added: "It was certainly a bitter pill to swallow given the game was probably one Scotland's biggest games in the history of cricket.
"Whilst it was bitterly disappointing it was amazing to see the gap closing between Associate and Test nations. I think we've put our name a bit more on the map and been recognised across world cricket a bit more, which is only ever going to be a good thing."
So how does David see Scotland's chances panning out? Unsurprisingly, he's confident.
"Scotland generally thrive on being underdogs so I think the side going into the weekend will have no expectations of victory.
"I think they've proved that they can compete - and be very competitive - against some of these Test-playing nations.
"So playing at The Grange in front of their home crowd, I think they should go into it with no fear and just give it their best shot.
"They should really enjoy playing against the number one side in the world at the moment; you don't get those opportunities very often."
