Zimbabwe squad for 2016 ICC World Twenty20:
Elton Chigumbura (captain)
- Played four matches in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, scoring 78 runs and taking one wicket
- Scored his first two ODI centuries in 2015 against Pakistan and India
- Took seven wickets in his first two ICC WT20 matches in 2007 - 3-20 against Australia and 4-31 against England
- Smashed an unbeaten 53 from just 21 balls against the UAE at Sylhet in ICC WT20 2014
Graeme Cremer
- His figures of 6-46 against Kenya in 2009 are the best in ODI cricket by a Zimbabwe spinner
- Returned to the international fold in 2015 after three years away and took 3-18 in the second Twenty20 against India in July
- He followed up with three three-wicket hauls in his next seven Twenty20 International matches
Luke Jongwe
- Made his ODI debut at the age of just 18 and struggled to start, with only five wickets in his first nine matches
-Took 5-6 against Afghanistan at Sharjah in January 2016 - the most economical five-wicket haul for Zimbabwe in ODI cricket
Played in two ICC U-19 World Cups for Zimbabwe - in 2012 and 2014
Neville Madziva
- Took 4-49 in an ODI against India at Harare in July 2015
- Struck an unbeaten 28 and took 2-25 in his four overs against Bangladesh at Mirpur in November 2015
- Recorded his best bowling figures in Twenty20 international cricket with 4-34 against the same opposition at Khulna in January 2016
Hamilton Masakadza
- He is the only Zimbabwean with more than a thousand runs in Twenty20 International cricket
- He was at the time the youngest player to score a century on his Test debut, doing so at 17 years and 354 days
- Over the course of a week in October 2009 he hit 156 and 178 not out against Kenya in ODI cricket
- His unbeaten innings of 162 for Mountaineers in February 2016 is the second-highest individual score in Twenty20 cricket worldwide
Richmond Mutumbami
- He was the highest run-scorer in the 2012-13 Logan Cup season with 686 runs at an average of 49
- His innings of 74 led Zimbabwe to a six-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the 3rd ODI at Bulawayo in October 2015
- Hit 43 in the second T20I against the same opposition but it couldn't prevent a one-wicket defeat
Sikandar Raza
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in software engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University
- Struck his first Twenty20 International fifty when he made 59 against Afghanistan at Bulawayo in October 2015
- After hitting a maiden ODI century against Afghanistan in 2014 he hit identical 100 not outs against Pakistan and New Zealand the following year
Malcolm Waller
- Hit an unbeaten 99 as Zimbabwe successfully chased 329 to defeat New Zealand in an ODI at Bulawayo in October 2011
- Struck six sixes in his innings of 68 from just 31 balls against Bangladesh at Mirpur in November 2015 but ended on the losing side
- His father Andy played for Zimbabwe in the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1987, 1992 and 1996
Sean Williams
- Represented his country in ICC U-19 World Cup 2004 and captained them in 2006
- He was ruled out of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 with a broken thumb but scored 339 runs in the next edition
- His undefeated 76 helped Zimbabwe to victory over the UAE and he also struck 96 against Ireland
Wellington Masakadza
- Represented Zimbabwe at ICC U-19 World Cup 2012, playing three matches
- On just his fourth ODI appearance he took 4-21 against Afghanistan at Bulawayo, winning the Player of the Match award
Tendai Chisoro
- Took wickets in each of his first seven Twenty20 Internationals
- His best figures of 3-17 helped Zimbabwe defeat Bangladesh by 18 runs at Khulna in January 2016
- He has scored 85 in a domestic Twenty20 match
Peter Moor
- Participated in both the 2008 and 2010 ICC U-19 World Cups
- Struck two half-centuries in the ODI series with Afghanistan at Sharjah in January 2016
- Played for Surrey Second XI in England in the summer of 2015
Tendai Chatara
- Ever-present for Zimbabwe in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, taking 10 wickets to end as his side's leading wicket-taker
- He took three wickets in an innings three times in the tournament, with his best figures of 3-35 coming against Pakistan at Brisbane
- Took three wickets in his three matches in ICC WT20 2014
- He represented his home town Manicaland in 200m and 400m events, before turning to cricket
Tinashe Panyangara
- Took 6-31 in Zimbabwe's upset victory over Australia at ICC U-19 World Cup 2004 in Bangladesh
- Zimbabwe's leading wicket-taker in ICC WT20 2014 with five wickets in his three matches
- Took a career-best 4-38 against Ireland at Sylhet in that competition
Vusimuzi Sibanda
- Played all three matches for Zimbabwe in ICC WT20 2014, scoring 41 runs
- His ODI debut came as long ago as 2003 and his two ODI centuries came seven years apart in 2006 and 2013
- Player of the ODI series as Zimbabwe defeated Bangladesh 2-1 in 2013
