Australia extended their formidable Gabba record with victory over England in the first Ashes Test. Sky Sports statistician Benedict Bermange reveals the numbers behind the unbeaten streak...

Australia extended their unbeaten streak at the Gabba to 29 matches - this unbeaten record is short only of Pakistan's 34-match streak at the National Stadium, Karachi from 1955 to 2000.

However, the Aussies' unbeaten streak at the Gabba is "only" 29 years, stretching back to 1988.
