Stokes' Supergiant side may have triumphed in the game itself, but it was Buttler who won the personal battle, smashing his England team-mate for back-to-back sixes in his opening over.
Buttler went on to score 38 off 19 balls with three fours and three sixes as Mumbai tallied 184-8 - Stokes taking 1-36 from his four overs, before then contributing 21 off 14 in the successful Supergiant run-chase.
