Newbery TT

It's impossible for my words to do this bat justice. Cricket bats are evolving, and the Newbery TT is a perfect example of how they are evolving for the better.
The TT is handmade by the Newbery master bat-maker Tim Keeley using the finest English willow and has been modelled on the infamous 'Excalibur'.
Designed for the rigours of Twenty20 cricket while still perfectly suitable for the longer formats of the game, it is easy to see why international stars Murray Goodwin and Zander de Bruyn have put their trust in the TT this season.
Newbery have always been a brand associated with tradition, heritage and class and their latest model upholds all these qualities and more.
The longer handle and sloping shaved shoulders lead into a sleak low density Grade 1 English willow with a middle to savour.
The light balanced pick-up feels great and the lengthened handle is designed to create additional flex and even more power and bat speed.
You certainly feel a million dollars with this bat in hand and the aluminous lime green grip is a classy match above the vintage black Newbery crest and ribbon.
The willow has been lightly pressed and the bottom heavy focus allows the batsman to gain extra leverage on full-length bowling - in other words, anything in the batsman's half must go!
Understated, stylish and classy, if you are not much of a batsman, you will certainly convince others you are when you walk out with the TT.
